Welcome to our St. Jean Elementary School website, home of the Jaguars!
St. Jean School is a small inner-city school with approximately 110 students. Our school is small in size allowing us to foster a family-friendly atmosphere where staff is able to get to know each and every child well.
As the Principal of St. Jean School, my vision is to continue to build a school environment where every student feels safe, comfortable, challenged, and engaged in class. Our school and staff are committed to developing the full potential in every child.
Our school curriculum focuses on the core foundational learnings at each grade level. These learnings enhance student abilities in the acquisition of knowledge, understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving. We believe that every learner is unique and special and that all students can ‘grow and learn together’ with encouragement and support.
We firmly believe it is our responsibility as educators to nurture and develop our diverse community of learners at St. Jean School. We strive to prepare our students to be lifelong learners, providing them with the necessary life skills that will allow them to grow into well-balanced global citizens in this ever-changing world.
St. Jean School also values the close partnerships with H&S and our parent community. And as the principal, I look forward to creating strong and collaborative relationships with the staff, students, and parents.
